The novelist Andrew O’Hagan travelled with Seamus Heaney, and their friend the great editor Karl Miller, to Scotland, Ireland and Wales,
In this talk he describes those journeys traversing over language and language, in the footsteps of great poets. O’Hagan uses letters and journals to reconstruct the story, and begins, at the same time, to tell a personal tale of growing up with Heaney’s writing and finding a great love of poetry.
